I live in Pennsylvania with my fiance. We’re getting married 08/08/08 (yes we’re getting married on a Friday) and I already have the reception spot of my dreams booked but I havent been able to find a ceremony site close enough to my reception spot which is RIGHT DOWNTOWN!!! I figured 08/08/08 would be a popular day like 07/07/07 so I want to get stuff booked ASAP!!! I was thinking Beautifull old fashoined unique churches (respecting my Gmas wishes) but dont know any downtown, let alone a church that would let us do our couples cousiling in PA and not with them! Maybe outside but where that would be really pretty? Any ideas help me out…

It would be for a company I have been with for over 5 years, so I’m too worried about the job market. My big concern is that there would be NOTHING to do there!
I like to stay active so I do a lot of hiking, rock climbing and ride the bike trails. I also like frisbee golf, outdoor concerts, street fairs (not carnivals!), just about anything outdoors.
I’ve done a bit of research so I have a general understanding of the climate and demographic. So, I am also wondering about the people. I won’t know anyone there so I was wondering if the people are friendly. Also, would it be hard for someone in their mid- twenties to meet good people. I’m pretty low-key but not opposed to going out, I usually just offer to be the designated driver.
I hope this is enough info for someone who knows the area to give me some feedback. I’m pretty happy where I am now but I am still considering the offer. I know I have a lot of questions, any serious responses will be appreciated. Thanks!
